Vision robot

Vision robot The Vision is an advanced 38cm, 2.4kg Vstone robot featuring its 360 degree visual sensor. Used by the "Osaka Dream Team" and supported by Osaka City in the 2004 Robocup - it won the Humanoid League at Robocup 2004 Japan. Created by designer Tomotaka Takaha. Uses the robovie motion-generation software for walking. Its creators see it as a Robocup player leading the way to the goal of the competition - a robot hefting the world cup trophy in 2050. Its family tree: style from Neon, designed for Robodex 2003, omidirectional sensor (360 degree camera) from OmniHead.
Robovie-M
Vstone has developed a relatively low-cost biped robot for sale to consumers that could be used in Robocup-style competitions (humanoid league). While the onbord computing is limited, the Robovie-M can get up from a fall and kick hard!
Robovie authoring layer One neat feature of the Robovie-M is the software - there is a graphical "authoring" environment for programming the robot's behavior.

"There is only one condition in which we can imagine managers not needing subordinates, and masters not needing slaves. This would be if every machine could work by itself, at the word of command or by intelligent anticipation."
- Aristotle, from his justification of slavery in Politics
